So remember how my tablet essentially just quit working and i couldn’t get ahold of a wacom service person to run a diagnostic yEah well that’s because Wacom discontinued??? ? their entire bamboo line????
so now they have what’s called an “intuos” for basic creative artists, and the actual intuos is now and “intuos Pro” and is listed under like $400. they have 3 different intuos sizes ( small, medium & large ) and then what’s called an “intuos manga”, which is the exact same tablet but with two different manga programs. that tablet only comes in a small.
because bamboo is a discontinued product, repair on mine was going to cost more that it would be to buy a brand new Pro. And since I don’t have the sort’a money because i’M OUT OF COMMISSIONS BC THE SYSTEM BRokE i went ahead and bought one of these new intuos. i didn’t really want to because new products come with a lotta new glitches??? but i didn’t really have a choice, because buying a new bamboo off of ebay didn’t give me any options as far as malfunction fixes go and i took p good care of this one and it had problems constantly.
so the new one looks like this????
This one’s a medium. It’s surface ratio is a little less than I thought it would be??? and apposed to the bamboo’s horizonal orientation (with the buttons on the side ‘n’ all that; the surface itself had a rectangular shape), this intuos is square. The buttons are at the top, along with the port ‘n’ the pen holder thingie. it was supposed to be keyboard size, but it’s a little smaller. nevertheless, when i put it against my bamboo, the active areas are the exact same size. the tablet itself is just smaller.
i haven’t tried it out yet cos i’m gonna go roleplay i mean study at a cafe in a little bit but this means yO i can draw digitally again praise sweet baby jesus amen im gonna go take a shower
